This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from our site.

Article 1 – Personal Information We Collect

When you contact us or make a purchase from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, order reference, and shipping and billing addresses. We may also receive customer data from third parties, such as our payment service providers.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • Cookies: Here is a list of cookies we use. We have listed them here so you can choose if you want to opt-out of cookies or not.
    • _session_id, unique token, sessional, allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc.).
    • _shopify_visit, no data held, persists for 30 minutes from the last visit. Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits.
    • _shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day. Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
    • cart, unique token, persists for 2 weeks, stores information about the contents of your cart.
    • _secure_session_id, unique token, sessional.
    • storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite if the shop has a password, it is used to determine if the current visitor has access.
  • Log files: Track actions occurring on the site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • Web beacons, tags, and pixels: Electronic files used to record information about how you browse the site.

Additionally, when you make or attempt to make a purchase through the site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

Article 2 – How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

Generally, we use the Order Information that we collect to fulfill any orders placed through the site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • Communicate with you;
  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud;
  • Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services, in line with your preferences.

We use the Device Information (particularly your IP address) that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud, and more generally to improve and optimize our site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates. By subscribing to notifications, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing messages to the phone number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information as described above.   • Protection of our rights: To comply with applicable laws, respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful requests for information, or to protect our rights.

Generally, third-party providers will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies with respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

How do you obtain my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery, or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your explicit consent or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

Please note that we do not alter our site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

How do I withdraw my consent?

ARTICLE 8 – DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through Drafts Apparel's website, we retain the Order Information in our records unless and until you ask us to delete it.

ARTICLE 9 – CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.

If Drafts Apparel undergoes an acquisition or merger with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
